Chemistry was bought & not used by us and is in better shape except for a small blue stain in the margins of chapter 15 through glossary (see pics) There are 16 chapters.
Biology was heavily used by us but still in good shape and has plenty of life still in it. The binding edge is a little looser than the very firm chemistry book binding.
After studying this bio and free modernstates.org class my kiddo was just a couple points from passing college CLEP (8 credit hours at MCC). We did one more short study on evolution & passed the CLEP!
