One of a kind Christmas gift. This life size carousel rabbit was carved by S & S Woodcarvers of Santa Anna, CA. He was bought at Fischer-Gambino on Royal Street in New Orleans in 1990. I was told the wood is ponderosa pine. The pole is brass and pristine. Including the platform, he measures 59" high, 48" long and 14" wide. He is solid carved and heavy. There is some yellowing from the patina which comes with age. His eyes are glass. I have no children or pets so he is in excellent condition for his age. You will not find one like him on eBay or anywhere else. I was going to have him stripped and stained natural but I'm running out of time. He needs a good home.
