Very well made. ALL METAL construction, will last much longer than newer plastic microscopes.
Nice model with 10X and 30X magnifications, with the included 10X Wide Angle Eyepieces.
Also accepts most other 23mm OD eyepieces (available online), so many other magnifications are optional.
This microscope is also great for doing quick, easy micro-photography...Low cost 23 mm adapters available online to adapt most cameras or CCD's to one of the eyepiece tubes.
This setup has the optional Transient lighting base, and Boom stand along with ABOVE and BELOW stage lamps!
The Head also DETACHES from the boom stand to use on larger objects or out in the field ( with out a stand)
Setup is also very useful for examining photo slides and negatives...You can see every tiny detail at magnification in all your old slides and negatives.
