We are also open to a trade if you have Painted Desert ewes or Nigerian Dwarf goats.
We have 3 full blooded Painted Desert and 1 Painted Desert/ Barbados Cross rams for sale. All were born around Easter week and are weaned.
Painted desert sheep are hair and meat sheep. They do not require shearing. They are also more disease tolerant than most other sheep breeds.
The full-blooded rams come from registered parents. We are selling these unregistered but can provide the registration paperwork of the parents if that is something you want. Their dad has VERY strong genes. All of the rams and ewes look almost identical but the moms do not. These guys could make great sires.
These lambs are all from unrelated parents. No line breeding.
The last pics are of the dad and moms. Their dad comes from gold star lineage. He is incredibly good natured. He's one of the friendliest animals on our farm and gets regular brushing and pets. He is also YOUNG. He is less than 2 years old and his horns are already a great size. His rams should make excellent sires as well. The rams horns are also coming in nice and big.
Since they look so similar the first picture is a head shot through to body shot. The next head shot is a different ram.
The one with that is mostly black and has a black face is a mixed ram.
