I have seen fields baled up for "hay" that has 2'-3' tall mesquite trees and 3'-4' tall thistles in it! I DO NOT DO THAT! You cannot tell what is inside that big rolled up bale.
What are you going to feed your precious animals? A guess is good hay or know is good hay.
You can walk my field where my hay is grown and see where my hay comes from.
