The people looking to move in are myself (35) and my husband (52), my nephew and his girlfriend (20) and my brother (42). We are all currently staying at my parents' house and need to get a space of our own. My nephew and his girlfriend work at the Children's hospital, my husband is starting his job tomorrow with a window company (and hoping to work for T-mobile soon), I am currently going to school but will be starting to receive FAFSA money for living expenses as a student at the end of August, and my brother receives disability SSI every month. My father is more than willing to provide financial information and take on the role of co-signer to make up for any typical credit or income requirement we may not meet. His credit and financial status are A+ and definitely meet any criteria a renter would need to feel comfortable in his role as co-signer. Security deposit, first and last month rent up front are also not a problem. Would be willing to sign 6 month-1 year rental agreement. I'm also hoping to find a renter that would accept me with a felony on my record from 3 years ago. My conviction is an F6 and is not in any way sex-related or violent. Since the conviction I have complied with my supervision and am no longer on any type of supervision or associate with other felons. My husband and I are saved Christians, which is only relevant to this post because I would like potential renters to know we live pretty quiet and responsible lives. We don't associate much with anyone outside of the church we attend and our family. My parents live pretty North in Flying Horse so we prefer the north side or northeast side of town but would consider other locations as well. Seeking to purchase or potentially rent a rural property with a home (fixer-upper OK) and a good outbuilding with power. Ideally looking for at least 35 acres, but will consider as small as 5 acres. Doesn't necessarily have to be in the Colorado Springs region. In fact, anywhere in Colorado or surrounding states would be considered. Manufactured homes are OK, but nothing from the 20th century or in bad repair. An installed, functioning septic system is required, as is a functioning well (ideally properly permitted), or a functioning water cistern system, with reliable water delivery.
